The owners moved out of the country and decided to make significant landscape improvements for incoming renters, transforming an exposed and unusable garden limited by a small terraced lawn, aging brick patio, and difficult sloping conditions.

• Integrated the new garden studio with the landscape, resolving gradient challenges, and installing low-maintenance, low-water planting areas.

• Anchored the backyard with a spacious redwood deck designed for multiple entertaining areas, complemented by new stairs and pathways.

• Added ample planting areas to provide effective privacy screening and visual interest.
