Empowering the local community through landscape architecture and design is one of our guiding principles. FOLLY has provided design services for charity auctions, been a design mentor for middle and high schoolers and designed and installed gardens for non-profits.
Rebuilding Together SF: SHE Builds
This backyard renovation was designed, managed and installed by women volunteers for survivors of domestic violence. After months of planning, installation was completed in one day as part of Rebuilding Together San Francisco SHE Builds.
SFNOMA: Project Pipeline
Sketch models of parklets designed by middler schoolers as part of the the San Francisco National Organization of Minority Architects Project Pipeline Camp. FOLLY has participated in three camp sessions, including 2020, helping to provide content for a web-based camp.
Oakland Education Fund
Design services were donated for an auction benefiting Oakland Public Education Fund. Three schematic design options were consolidated into one plan for the homeowner to use to elicit the services of a landscape contractor.
